When I sat down to write my autobiography for a collection of my favourite stories, images of all those women from middle class families started emerging in my mind, whose lives I had seen very closely. I myself belong to a middle class family, so I am well acquainted with the sorrows, joys, hopes, disappointments and passions of women of middle class families. I am unable to understand what to forget and what to remember. I am presenting before you a collection of my selected stories, using the ink of the long experiences I have had in my life so far. This is just an attempt to stand up to the test of my dear readers. The decision of my success or failure is in the hands of my talented readers. – Neelu Chopra (Author)
