Dr. Mohamed Shabaz Sherif is a competent and aspiring Orthopedic Surgeon with qualifications including MBBS, D.Ortho, and DNB (Orthopedics). He has developed specialized expertise in Sports and Shoulder Injuries, having completed a Fellowship in Sports and Shoulder Injuries (Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty) from Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune. His comprehensive orthopedic training includes a DNB in Orthopedic Surgery from Cosmopolitan Hospitals, Thiruvananthapuram, a Diploma in Orthopedic Surgery (D-Ortho) from MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna, and an MBBS from Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery.

Professionally, Dr. Sherif has served in several esteemed institutions, including Sree Gokulam Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram (as Consultant in Arthroscopy, Arthroplasty, and Trauma Surgery), TSC Hospital, Kulathoor and Arafa Hospital, Kollam (as Consultant Sports and Replacement Surgeon), and Sri Narayana Mission Hospital, Varkala (as Junior Consultant).

His clinical experience encompasses over 40 arthroplasty surgeries (hip and knee) and extensive expertise in Total Knee Arthroplasty, Hemi-Replacement Arthroplasty of the Hip, Arthroscopic ACL Reconstruction, Meniscal Repair, Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty, and various fracture fixations and soft-tissue procedures.

Currently, he serves as Consultant Sports and Replacement Surgeon and Director of ARV Global Hospital, Trivandrum, while also holding the position of Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at Gokulam Medical College, Trivandrum.
